An important part of VOB's passion and the original AGS mission statement, was to publish playable pieces for the classical guitarist to enjoy, and to increase their skills and knowledge. Toward that goal, VOB lovingly created and established to fund to have AGS publish the set of works that you see below. There are 20 booklets in total and scanning the contents of each is nearly completed. Some of these pieces are concert quality and worthy of being played by the guitar virtuoso. However I am sure that you will find some of these pieces to be simple to grasp where you are able to make them sound absolutely delightful on a first go around. Please dig in and explore this collection for yourself to find pieces of beauty and meaning for you, and your guitar. You will soon realize that VOB was a highly skilled master of the instrument who clearly earned her renowned, world wide title - "the grand lady of the guitar."
Call out to professionals: Please consider recording some (or all) of these pieces and share your efforts back with the AGS. The AGS board will review your recordings and consider posting them on this web site as an aid to others to understand and appreciate this collection.
